OX Place is bringing forward proposals for new homes and public open space on the former landfill site opposite Redbridge Park & Ride.

This land is owned by Oxford City Council and has been allocated for the development of new homes in the Oxford Local Plan 2016-2036.  OX Place is the council’s own development company, created in 2016 to create high-quality, sustainable and genuinely affordable new homes for Oxford.

OX Place has partnered with Hill Group to investigate the possibility of new homes on this site, and a public exhibition of emerging proposals was held in October 2024 at St Luke’s Church on Canning Crescent.  We intend to hold a second consultation later this year to provide an update on the proposals.
