OX Place is undertaking feasibility work for new homes and public open space on the former landfill site opposite Redbridge Park & Ride.

This land is owned by Oxford City Council and has been allocated for the development of new homes in the Oxford Local Plan 2016-2036.  OX Place is the council’s own development company, created in 2016 to create high-quality, sustainable and genuinely affordable new homes for Oxford.

OX Place has partnered with Hill Group to investigate the possibility of new homes on this site.  Hill Group is in the process of drawing up initial plans, and the intention is to have a period of public engagement on these plans by the end of the year.
